InformationLeader now has available clickable image maps.
With clickable image maps you choose an image and decide which areas are clickable. It could be a human (as shown) to allow recording of injuries. It could be a piece of equipment to record cleaning or maintenance issues. It could be a picture containing hazards that a trainee clicks on in an induction training course to identify hazards. It could be a carcase to click on to show defects or sampling points. The options are endless really. The only requirement is that it is static as this feature can’t be used for video.
The image below shows how a body is being used to indicate injuries. You can see that the information about where the user has clicked on the image is also recorded automatically in the Injury Location field. More than one image (see face and back images below) can be added.
- You choose the image
- You define the clickable areas
- Areas can be any shape
- No limit to the number of clicks
- No limit to the number of areas
- Different coloured highlights even on the one image
- Image does need to be static (no moving images)
- Highlighted images can be included in reports
