InformationLeader Home Screen
One of the most obvious changes coming in the latest version (version 5.1.2) of InformationLeader is the addition of a Home screen. This screen is tailored per user in the system, and provides a quick, easy way to access your InformationLeader notifications, forms, and reports. It also looks and works great on tablet devices.
There’s a few things going on in the new screen:
- At the very top there’s a little broadcast message regarding fire alarm testing – this is a custom message that administrators can set. They can also set an expiry date and time so that it disappears by itself when it’s no longer relevant
- Greeting message underneath – you can leave it at the default or set it up to say whatever is relevant for your organisation
- Quick links – these are quick shortcuts to InformationLeader areas that you have permission to see. You can use the handy filters to find things easily, or hover over the icons to see more information. You can change it so the links automatically send you to a new form, or go straight to the summary screen to see the existing forms. The system also remembers how you’ve set your filters so that the next time you log in it will look just how you left it.
