InformationLeader was first released in 2000 as QMS (Quality Management System). It’s come a long way since then, and we’re particularly proud of our latest release, InformationLeader version 5.
Many clients have now been upgraded to version 5, with many more to be upgraded in the year ahead. With this in mind, the InformationLeader development team are releasing a series of blog posts that highlight some of the changes that we’ve made to InformationLeader.
Some of the features and changes are big, and some of them are small, but all of them are the result of all of the customer requests and feedback that we’ve accumulated over the many years that InformationLeader’s been in use.
One small but significant new feature that we’ll look at today is ‘Recent Items’. We’ve found that most users, even though they may have access to dozens of areas within their InformationLeader systems, only access the same five forms, workflows, documents or reports every day. With this in mind we’ve created quick-access Recent menus for each of the modules.
With one click users can access their most recently used templates and records across any of InformationLeader’s modules. These recent lists are tied to your account so they’ll be available no matter what workstation you use to access the system!
We hope you’ll find these posts informative and remember – if you have any questions or just want to chat about how this latest version of InformationLeader can help your business then either send us a tweet @ILeaderV5 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . If you’re already an existing InformationLeader and want to see how to make use of this new feature, just get in touch with InformationLeader support and they’ll be happy to take you through the new functionality.
